I've always believed that transportation is more than just movement. It is opportunity.

Growing up in Bogotá, Colombia, I saw how powerful accessible transportation can be. In a big city where public transit allows millions of people to reach work, school, hospitals, and markets every day, mobility is something that connects people to the basic things they need in life.

But in many rural communities in Colombia and around the world, that kind of access does not exist. For many families, getting to work, school, or medical care can mean walking miles each day. Something as simple as a bicycle can completely change that reality.

That is why this cause is very personal to me and why I chose to run this marathon in support of this organization. They provide bicycles to people living in remote areas, including communities in my home country of Colombia. Their work helps people reach jobs, education, food, and healthcare much faster and more safely.

Mobility creates opportunity. It allows people to access the places that are essential for daily life and long term stability.

With just $165, a brand new bicycle can be provided to someone whose life will immediately become easier and more connected.
