Hi friends! I will be running the Chicago Marathon on October 12th, joining 24 teammates in support of World Bicycle Relief!
Imagine if you had to spend hours walking each day just to run the simplest errands or go to school/work, and then suddenly you had the power of wheels to get from place to place 3-4x faster ...
I believe in the Power of Bicycles and their ability to change the world. Please consider supporting my Chicago Marathon fundraiser to help mobilize individuals in rural developing countries. Just $165 sponsors a brand new bike in the field and forever changes the trajectory of an individual's life - empowering them to graduate school, start businesses, go to doctors appointments, and more.
As an added note - as some of you know, (ironically?) this past September 30th, I was in a bicycle accident and subsequent major elbow surgery, and the marathon will be one year (and 10 days) later. I will be beating my fastest marathon time (3:58). I appreciate your support as we go #12Months_ER2PR!
