Welcome SRAMmies, to another Pedal to Empower!

2026 is the seventh Pedal to Empower, a global cycling event that brings together supporters from all over the world who love the Power of Bicycles. This year, with more than 1 million Buffalo Bicycles on the road, there’s no better time to join the movement that’s mobilizing the next generation of women and girls. 


SRAMmies, your love for World Bicycle Relief means the world, it's been there since the very beginning. No matter where you are or what part you play in the SRAM global team, we're so thankful to you for your steadfast support for WBR & for all the ways you champion the Power of Bicycles.

To get started & help SRAM take the leaderboard by a healthy margin, please follow the following steps:

1. Register by clicking the button "Join Us" on this page, create your account or log in to an existing account (SRAM email preferred, not required).

2. Join your local SRAM team - Step 3 of the registration process will prompt you to create or join a team. There are SRAM teams for all regions (to best support connectivity and donations in local currencies) - and you're more than welcome to start a new one! If you'd like help, please reach out to alexgee@worldbicyclerelief.org. 

3. When you donate, please be sure to use your SRAM email! Every dollar makes a double the difference - when you use your SRAM email, SRAM Corporation will match your gift to World Bicycle Relief, dollar for dollar, 24/7/365! 

For context: 
- $25 funds a new set of wheels for a Buffalo Bicycle 
- $50 can supply the tools and support the training of a certified Buffalo mechanic
- $165 supplies a Buffalo Bicycle through WBR's programs, mobilizing some 5 individuals* to go further, go faster and go empowered towards a brighter future. 

4. Track your KMs - link your Strava/Hammerhead and help us crush the leaderboards. No matter how you ride, every kilometer adds up. From May 4 - June 30, our partners will contribute $1 for every kilometer ridden. turning your collective movement into meaningful progress and opportunity for women and girls. When you ride, she rides. 

*Our bicycles have a multiplier effect. In areas where World Bicycle Relief operates, the median household size exceeds five people. As many as five people can experience the positive impact from just one Buffalo Bicycle.
