Contests for a Cause Supports WBR
I'm Michael Chaffin, the founder of Contests for a Cause — an independent platform that turns fantasy sports into charitable giving instead of ad revenue or sports bets. Two prior 2026 contests (Chaffin's Bracket for NCAA Basketball and Playing Through for The Masters) raised $470 from 39 participants. Domestique is the third, and the first to benefit World Bicycle Relief. WBR's mission — putting purpose-built bikes in the hands of students, healthcare workers, and entrepreneurs in low-income communities — is a natural fit for a Tour de France contest. Every $20 entry sends $5 directly to WBR, with the option for the winner to donate part of their prize at the end of July. If you'd like to back the project, enter Domestique at domestique.contestsforacause.org or contribute to the team page directly.

In its first running, Domestique crowned first-time player Lauren Chaffin as 2026 champion — she led wire-to-wire from the second week and held on by just nine points on the final day in Paris. Together, our players and supporters raised $225 for World Bicycle Relief, putting more bikes under the people who need them most.
