I am passionate about cycling and fundraising, and my
journey has now led me to the World Bicycle Relief (WBR). Having followed this
organization for years, I’ve witnessed the transformative impact of bicycles on
individuals and communities. Now, as I celebrate my 65th birthday, I’m
embarking on a 7,600 km bikepacking adventure across Europe along the European
Divide Trail. This journey isn’t just about adventure; it’s about making a
difference.
WBR’s mission is clear: to mobilize people through the Power
of Bicycles. They believe that everyone should have access to affordable, safe
transportation that meets their needs. As experts in bicycle mobility, WBR
designs solutions that improve healthcare, education, and economic
opportunities.
