Team Human - Changing lives with bicycles

Hello friendly humans,

We are Team Human — Moona and Chad, a young couple from Finland and South Africa. We are embarking on an extraordinary journey: cycling across the European continent entirely self-sustained, without any external assistance. Our mission is to empower people through the transformative power of bicycles, which is why we have teamed up with an incredible charity, World Bicycle Relief. Together, we believe in the profound impact bicycles can have on individuals and communities.

World Bicycle Relief provides bicycles and collaborates with rural communities in Africa and Colombia. Here's how these bicycles make a profound impact:

1. Bicycles are key to breaking the cycle of poverty for children, enabling access to education and ensuring they stay in school.
2. Health workers can reach more patients' homes, delivering improved care and better health outcomes.
3. Farmers and entrepreneurs benefit from efficient transportation, allowing them to transport more goods and save valuable time.
4. Bicycles empower girls to overcome safety concerns, stay in school, and pursue their dreams.

In 90 days, starting 24.07.2023, we will pedal from Finland to Portugal, carrying only the bare essentials for survival on our bicycles. Covering approximately 6,000-7,000 kilometers, this challenge fuels our passion and determination. Our goal is to raise €10,000 (68 bicycles), and every single euro counts. Your donation, even as little as one euro, makes a significant impact. With €147, you can provide a brand new bike that will forever transform an individual's life.
