Be part of my Ironman journey 2023 by changing lives with bicycles!
Dear friends and supporters,
Applying for a full Ironman distance might be fun and dumb at the same time. But one thing is for sure: Riding highly-equipped bikes to become even faster during the race (or to suffer less in my case :)) can be seen as an extremely privileged way of life.
Turning the Ironman Frankfurt challenge (02 July/2023) into something meaningful keeps me motivated and has the power to give back to those who urgently need access to mobility.
World Bicycle Relief partners with communities to deliver specially designed, locally assembled, rugged bicycles for people in need. They have developed an efficient, innovative, and scalable model to empower communities of students, health workers, and entrepreneurs in rural regions with life-changing mobility. EUR 147 helps to put a brand new bike in the field and forever changes the trajectory of an individual's life.
