Post-Campaign Birthday Bonus!
The 2023-2024 campaign was a great success. Now to add a birthday bonus for WBR! As I turn 50 this month I'll be running 50 miles in one day. Let's put some more bikes in the field and change lives through mobilityu!!Phase 2 was wildly successful!!
Phase 2 focused on the unnerving challenge of completing 2 hilly marathons in 2 weeks on 2 coasts. It was Boston2BigSur, or B2B, two historic, beautiful, and challenging marathon courses in April 2024. We raised well over the original goal of $7,500 to donate another 45 Buffalo Bicycles!

One WBR Buffalo Bicycle will change a life. . .
THIS IS THE BIRTHDAY BONUS CAMPAIGN!. . . The last campaign to place 100 new Buffalo Bicycles in the field took a year culminating in Fall 2024, when I promptly "retired" from running campaigns to join the Events Committee (more brain, less brawn?!). With my 50th birthday this month I have challenged myself to run 50 miles in one day to support WBR.
Please help me raise a final $6,600 so that we can donate another 40 Buffalo Bicycles!
As with every campaign, I donated first (one bicycle) and will match the highest individual donation. Just $165 helps put a brand new bike in the field and forever changes the trajectory of an individual's life.
Having run 6 campaigns and being involved with WBR for almost a decade, I know the profound impact a WBR Buffalo Bicycle has on a person, a
family, a community; it is no exaggeration to say that by delivering a Buffalo
Bicycle you provide life-changing mobility, in variety of ways:
EDUCATION Bicycles help children get to school and stay in school. On two wheels, students in low-income regions can lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
HEALTHCARE Bicycles enable health workers to visit more patients' homes, more often. Increased quality of care leads to improved health for entire communities.
GENDER EQUALITY Distance, safety concerns and household chores often prevent girls from receiving educations. Bicycles help girls stay in school and pursue their dreams.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT Buffalo Bicycles provide greater carrying capacity, enabling farmers and entrepreneurs to transport more goods and save valuable time
