Le Tour de Discover 500km Cycle Challenge!
At Discover the World, we believe in the power of bicycles—and their ability to change lives.
As a global team, we’ve set ourselves an ambitious challenge: to collectively cycle 10,875 km (6,757 miles)—the distance from our office in Auckland, New Zealand, to our HQ in Scottsdale, Arizona.
I’ve committed to the longest individual distance: 500 km over two months. The journey began with a sunny Sussex ride on 6 April (my first time back on a bike in years!), combining outdoor rides with indoor static bike sessions along the way. I’ll then join my London colleagues to cross the finish line together with a 10 km group ride on World Bicycle Day, Wednesday 3 June 2026.
