Help JaBig Change Lives Through The Power of Bicycles
My name is JaBig, an international DJ and adventurer hailing from Canada (born Jean-Aimé Bigirimana in 1979, Kigali, Rwanda). My profession/passion is travelling the globe, performing for House Music lovers and indulging in my love for cycling.Â
Not only do I ride bicycles for personal pleasure, escapism and community engagement but I also cycle to raise funds for World Bicycle Relief.
These funds bolster the global charitable organisation's bicycle distribution mandate which primarily functions to provide practical and emblematic modes of transport for children in some rural Africa regions.
Â
By facilitating access to school in the first place, the Buffalo bikes, as they're known, pave the way for education and in turn, a wealth of future opportunities.
Â
My cycling adventures have seen me traverse Canada twice (2016's fixed-gear bike Guinness World Record-setting winter journey and 2020's pandemic ride), explore Europe in 2019 (through the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Switzerland), circumnavigate the United States in 2022 and in 2023 an expedition from the northernmost cyclable point in Europe to its southernmost tip.Â
Since 2022, I have successfully raised over $20,000 so I still have a long journey ahead of me. Yet, it has changed lives for the better so far as following my 2022 ride around the USA, I visited Kenya, witnessing first-hand the transformative power of my bicycle fundraiser. I can personally attest that Buffalo Bikes are life-changing, uplifting entire communities.Â
Â
If you wish to support my charitable cycling challenges, please consider making a donation and perhaps sharing this page amongst your friends.
Â
Thank you kindly for your attention and in advance, for your generous contribution which will help make the world a better place for children in rural Africa.
Thank you to my supporters
