Help me make a difference in the world through the power of the bicycle
Hello friends, family, and guests! I am seeking your support on a fundraising effort while I train for and participate in the “SBT GRVL” gravel bike race on August 20, 2023. The race is an eye watering 141 miles long that’ll include close to 10,000ft in elevation gain through the stunning mountain scenery in Steamboat Springs, CO.
The World Bicycle Relief supplies purpose built bicycles around the world. These bikes are a far cry from my fancy, carbon, overpriced race bike. Instead, these bicycles are designed for the needs of rural farmers, students, and their families. In short, this organizations goal is to improve areas lacking transportation in impoverished or rural communities with the use of a bicycle, and supporting bicycle infrastructure.
For me, the bike exemplifies freedom. I have been incredibly fortunate to explore countless beautiful roads and trails on my bike. This race will be an extreme challenge in my endurance, and a lifetime memory in my adventures as an amateur cyclist.
My mission is to raise 10 bikes for the world bicycle relief, or $1650.
For those generous enough to sponsor an entire bike ($165 donation) I would like to invite their signature on my race jersey. Your representation will inspire me to the finish line!
