Your donation will provide bicycles that change lives
Dear Supporter,
In Siaya County, Kenya, Community Health Promoters (CHPs) are the frontline of malaria prevention, testing, treatment, and referral at household level. In just three months, 75 CHPs reached over 18,700 households and treated more than 2,000 confirmed malaria cases, often in remote, flood-prone, malaria-endemic communities where access to care is limited.
Despite their impact, many CHPs lack reliable transport and must walk long distances, especially during rainy seasons when malaria risk is highest. Limited mobility reduces household coverage, delays care, and weakens follow-up for pregnant women and sick children.
By giving through World Bicycle Relief, you can help provide durable bicycles that enable CHPs to reach more families, respond faster to illness, and sustain life-saving services in hard-to-reach areas. A bicycle is more than transport, it is a tool for access, dignity, and timely health care.
Your support will strengthen last-mile health delivery and directly contribute to reduced malaria illness and deaths in vulnerable communities.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Kiambi
