Your donation will provide bicycles that change lives.

Students in the lower school at ASP believe in the Power of Bicycles and their ability to change the world! Please consider supporting our personal fundraising efforts to help mobilize students and individuals in rural developing countries. Any amount is appreciated and helps towards our goal. A brand new bike in the field forever changes the trajectory of an individual's life. Each bike is 147 euros. Our goal is to raise enough money for 23 bikes.

ABOUT WORLD BICYCLE RELIEF: World Bicycle Relief partners with communities, governments, and the private sector to improve access to healthcare, education, markets, and critical government services for rural communities left behind by current development initiatives. Founded in 2005, World Bicycle Relief has already helped accelerate the journey out of poverty for more than 3.5 million people in 21 countries. When women, girls, community health workers, farmers, and entrepreneurs have durable bicycles, they can access the services and opportunities they need to build a better life.

Spread the word by sharing this page with others who may want to donate to help individuals challenged by distance.

Thank you for your support!

Did you know that in rural communities around the world, the biggest barrier to education is often getting to school – especially for girls? World Bicycle Relief's community-based programming provides bicycles to students in need, prioritizing girls in particular. Access to reliable transportation mobilizes girl students to access schools and clinics, support their communities, and realize dreams. By providing bicycles, you empower students to fulfill their potential and break the cycle of poverty.

Did you know that in low-income regions, where diseases like malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV threaten rural communities, access to healthcare is vital? But long distances and rugged terrain make it difficult for patients to access remote health clinics. Volunteer health workers often walk 10-20 km to provide care for patients in their homes. Our Buffalo Bicycles ensure community health workers spend less time in transit and more time delivering life-saving care.

Did you know that in regions where walking is the primary mode of transportation, distance is a challenge to earning a livelihood? Mobility plays an essential role in market access and productivity. With Buffalo Bicycles, a farmer can transport more produce to market, more grain to the grinding mill, and more milk to the collection center. World Bicycle Relief partners with local employers and co-ops to offer farmers the opportunity to build entrepreneurial businesses and create momentum for the entire community.

Dear Ms. Miranda and Fifth-graders, I am so proud of you for the work you are doing to help others who are in desperate need of a bicycle to transport goods to market or to quickly get water for their family and then have time to go to school. You are making a difference in other children's lives.
