Bikes do it all
I've been lucky enough to race for over a decade at the highest level cycling has to offer. Riding a bike has been a job, but the bike has been so much for me; a toy, a tool, a bridge, a window. A place to find a smile on a hard day. The bike has always been there for me.
As much as I'd like everyone to experience the joys of a casual ride or the thrill of a steep mountain descent, I know that what I've experienced on a bike is just a small window into what a bike can do. Bikes provided by World Bicycle Relief to rural communities can provide so much more than even I can grasp.
It seems almost comical to think that something as basic and elemental as a bike can have such profound impacts on education, healthcare, economic development and & equality but the impacts are well documented and The Power Of Bicycles to change lives is truly undeniable.
I believe in the Power of Bicycles and their ability to change the world. Please consider supporting my personal fundraising efforts to help mobilize individuals & communities in rural developing countries. Just $165 helps put a brand new bike in the field and forever changes the trajectory of an individual's life.
